Sonny Grey scalding death: Second man on murder charge

A 23-year-old has been charged with murdering a man who had boiling water poured over him.

Sonny Grey died in hospital after he was scalded with water from a kettle at his home in Lincoln on 29 October. Three men stole cash and jewellery.

Robert Michael Holmes, from Wisbech, will appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court later.

Rocky Curtis, 24, from Newbridge Lane in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, was charged with murder on Tuesday.

Mr Curtis, who was remanded at Lincoln Magistrates' Court, was arrested on Monday.

He is due to appear at the city's Crown court on Thursday for a bail hearing.

A 49-year-old woman has been released on police bail until 6 July pending further inquiries.

Two other men - aged 27 and 29 - were arrested in March and released on police bail.
