Skegness RNLI rescues three men from stricken boat

The RNLI rescued three men on board a former fishing vessel during a nine-hour operation which was hampered by poor weather conditions off the Lincolnshire coast.

Skegness RNLI launched the Lincolnshire Poacher at 00:36 GMT on Sunday after the boat, Sarah, began taking on water 17 miles north-east of the town.

The boat and crew were safely towed to Fosdyke Marina, where the vessel was hoisted out of the water.
