Lincolnshire hunt supporters in fresh call to lift ban

Fresh calls for the government to reconsider the ban on hunting with hounds have been made by members of Lincolnshire's South Wold Hunt.

Hunt supporters said the law, which was brought in six years ago, was misguided and unworkable.

The RSPCA said the law was effective and enforceable and if it received evidence of illegal hunting it would investigate and prosecute where necessary.

Since hunting with hounds was banned people taking part in a meet have had to follow an artificial scent trail.
