World War II hero Guy Gibson's ghost hunted

Paranormal investigators have been staking out a Lincolnshire RAF base in an attempt to catch a glimpse of a World War II hero's ghost.

Wing Cdr Guy Gibson led the Dambusters raid in 1943 from his base at RAF Scampton.

His old office has been empty for half a century and staff at the facility said it was haunted.

Michelle Clements from Paranormal-Lincs said the pilot's spirit may have tried to speak to the ghost hunters as they picked up activity on their electronic detection equipment.
