Man arrested after crossbow fired from Lincoln house

Police have arrested a man after a crossbow was fired from a first-floor window of a house in Lincoln.

Armed officers, including dog handlers, were called to the property on Goldsmith Walk at about 11:30 BST.

Police fired a Taser and arrested someone after negotiating with a man for about six hours.

A section of Goldsmith Walk was cordoned off and part of the street closed. Police said no-one was injured during the incident.
