Man admits Lincolnshire officer's crash death

A 26-year-old man has admitted causing the death of a Lincolnshire soldier in a road crash.

L/Cpl Stephanie-Claire Armsby, 23, from Branston, near Lincoln, died after her car collided with a van on the B1188 at Nocton Heath in November 2010.

Paul Steven Mould, from Dunston, admitted causing death by dangerous driving at Lincoln Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before the court again for sentencing on 25 October.

L/Cpl Armsby had just returned home following a tour of Afghanistan with the Royal Signals based at RAF Digby when the crash happened on 14 November 2010.
