Lincoln University student's 'new form of photography'
- Published
A student from the University of Lincoln has put together an exhibition that he describes as an "experiment with a new form of photography".
Samuel Cox said the exhibition was an immersive experience featuring large scale panoramic images of Lincolnshire.
High definition gigapixel images will be projected onto a large screen and viewers can interact using their hands, zooming in and out of the image.
Mr Cox said you feel as though you can "step inside" the picture.
"As the perspective changes, the view feels as though you are actually immersed in the scene," he said.
"It does this through digital technologies that allow the viewer to move around the panoramic images."
