Police are treating as murder the death of a 46-year-old man whose body was found at a former railway goods yard in Lincolnshire.
The man, named locally as David Twigg, was discovered in a building at the site in Burgh Le Marsh, near Skegness, on Sunday evening.
Results of a post-mortem examination failed to establish the cause of death.
Police said early indications suggest that he died after breathing in smoke, but this is yet to be confirmed.
Lincolnshire Police has appealed for anyone who lives near to Station Road and saw any suspicious activity to contact them.
A force spokesperson said: "Early indications suggest that the man died as the result of smoke inhalation but further tests are being carried out and the results may take some time to be known."
A formal identification is due to be carried out later.
