A jury has retired to consider its verdict in the trial of seven people, including a 14-year-old girl, accused of murdering a man in Lincoln.

Shaun Rossington, 21, was found dead on grassland near Searby Road on 3 June. He had died of head injuries.

Two men, aged 27 and 21, and five teenagers all deny murder.

Nottingham Crown Court heard Mr Rossington was tempted to the spot by the young girl, who was 13 at the time, on the promise of a sex act.

The jury was told the gang lured the victim, who suffered from Asperger's Syndrome, to the spot where they beat him, then hatched a plan to cover up their involvement.
