Youth remanded over Sleaford quarry death

A teenager charged with the murder of man whose body was found in a Lincolnshire quarry has been remanded in custody.

The body of David Cowley, 67, of Broadfield Lane in Boston, was discovered off Mareham Lane, Sleaford, on 17 November.

The 17-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court.

He was remanded to appear at the youth court on Thursday.

A second boy, also 17, has been arrested and bailed.
