Police have been given more time to question a teenager arrested on suspicion of murdering a man found dead at a disused Lincolnshire quarry.

The man's body was discovered by police on Wednesday night at the lake off Mareham Lane, Sleaford.

A 17-year-old boy was later arrested in Sleaford and is being questioned at Lincoln police station.

Detectives said they were not yet in a position to name the dead man, who is believed to be from Boston.

A post-mortem examination was being carried out on Friday.
