Man faces death by dangerous driving charge after crash

A Lincolnshire man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash at Dunston Heath.

Driver Paulius Konstantinavicius, 21, of Queensway, Ruskington, is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court to face the charge later.

Matthew Anderson, 25, of Dunston, who was a passenger in another car, died in the collision at 1300 GMT on Saturday.

Seven other people were injured and two of them remain in a serious condition in Lincoln County Hospital.

The death brings the number of people killed on Lincolnshire's roads to 39 in 2010, compared with 41 in the same period in 2009.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
