Family tribute to 76-year-old Market Rasen motorcyclist
The family of a 76-year-old motorcycle enthusiast killed in a crash in Lincolnshire have paid tribute to a "fantastic husband and father".
Frank Boast, of Market Rasen, died after a crash involving his bike and a Renault Megane on the A157 at Grimblethorpe on Tuesday.
His son Peter, a professional racer, said: "Dad was my advisor, my mechanic and my inspiration."
Mr Boast was one of seven people to die on Lincolnshire's roads in six days.
He was on his way to the Caldwell Park motorsports circuit when the crash happened.
His family said he was well-loved in Market Rasen, where his wife Hilda runs a hairdressing salon and where they have lived for more than 30 years.
They said he had "a great circle of friends" and was always helping other people.
His son added: "He was a brilliant dad, a person who was always there for me and he will be missed terribly by everyone who knew him."
Police are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash near Gayton Le Wold at about 1400 BST to come forward.
