Motorcyclist, 76, dies after Lincolnshire road crash

A 76-year-old motorcyclist has died after he was in collision with a car on a Lincolnshire road.

Police were called to the A157 at Grimblethorpe near Gayton Le Wold at about 1400 BST on Tuesday.

Frank Boast, a motorcycle enthusiast from Market Rasen, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with a serious leg injury but died later.

The occupants of the car, a silver Renault Megane, were not hurt in the collision, police said.

Mr Boast was on his way to the Caldwell Park motorsports circuit when the accident happened.

Officers have asked anyone who may have seen the crash to contact them.
