Police concern for missing Lincolnshire girl, 14

Police are becoming increasingly concerned about a teenage girl from Lincolnshire who has gone missing.

Brianny Webster, 14, disappeared from her home in Gainsborough on 1 September with no money and no change of clothes and has not been seen since.

It is thought Brianny, who has been described by police as extremely vulnerable, could be in Lincoln, Sheffield or Nottingham.

Officers fear she is in the company of an "inappropriate adult".

'Significant harm'

Ch Insp Kieran English said: "We are talking about an extremely vulnerable young girl who has been missing for 14 days.

"She left her home in Gainsborough with no money and no change of clothes and she has no access to a bank account.

"We now also believe it is possible she could be in the company of an inappropriate adult who may cause her significant harm."

Ch Insp English said she had been spotted in Lincoln a few days ago but officers now believe she may be sleeping rough in Sheffield.

He said: "We have some information that she may be frequenting with people who maybe involved in drugs and criminal activity.

"As the days progress, I get more and more concerned about her well-being. I need the help of the community to get her back safely."

Police want anyone who has seen the teenager to contact them immediately.
