Peter West's body was found in a bedroom of a house on Glazebrook Road in June
Two people have been jailed after they left a man's body to decompose at a house in Leicester.
Peter West's corpse was discovered by his former partner when she visited his home address in Glazebrook Road, on 20 June.
Kieron West, 36, of the same address, was found guilty of preventing the lawful burial of his father.
Emma Hicken, 36, also of Glazebrook Road, pleaded guilty to the same offence at Leicester Crown Court.
West was sentenced to two years and six months on Tuesday, while Hicken received an 11-month sentence.
Police said while the death was not treated as suspicious, it was clear Mr West had been there for a "considerable amount of time".
