Police have released an image of a man they want to trace after a car mounted a pavement and struck four pedestrians.

The black Hyundai Coupe drove through a bus stop queue on Humberstone Gate, Leicester, on 1 November, hitting three men and a woman.

The car failed to stop at the scene and was later found abandoned.

Leicestershire Police said Wahiduzzaman Rob, 18, known as Wahid, may be able to help with their inquiries.

The three men and woman have since been discharged from hospital.

Mr Rob previously lived in the city centre but has not been seen for a few weeks, the force said.

A 21-year-old man arrested in connection with the alleged hit-and-run remains on bail pending further inquiries.
