Murder arrest over Leicester street death

A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man outside a Leicester pub.

Steven McKinnon, 44, from Uppingham Road, died in hospital following an attack near the Durham Ox pub in Catherine Street, on 6 June.

Two men, aged 29 and 27, from Leicester, have been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

A 24-year-old man arrested on suspicion of intent to cause grievous bodily harm was bailed pending further inquiries.

Mr McKinnon's family said: "We are struggling to process the horrific events of the last few days, knowing we will never see Steven again."
