Antoin Akpom Leicester killing: Police charge second man
A second man has been charged with the murder of youth football coach Antoin Akpom in Leicester.
The 19-year-old, who police have not yet named, is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
Mr Akpom was found stabbed in Kent Street on 12 September.
Police are investigating possible links between the killing and an alleged arson attack which killed a mother and her three teenage children.
A force spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we are working on the presumption that both cases are linked."
Abdul Hakim, 19, of Wood Hill in Leicester, has already appeared in court charged with Mr Akpom's murder.
An inquest which was opened and adjourned at Leicester Town Hall heard Mr Akpom died from a single stab wound to the chest.
Six men and a youth have been charged with the murders of the family who died in the fire in Wood Hill, Leicester, on 13 September.
They are due to appear at Leicester Crown Court on Friday.
