A fire at a Leicestershire factory which started five days ago is being treated as suspicious, police have said.

Firefighters were called to Arden Digital and Direct printing works in Kingsfield Road, Barwell, on Saturday afternoon.

The fire was finally put out on Tuesday after smouldering hotspots had been discovered.

People inside the building when the fire started escaped unharmed.

Several roads had been closed and residents in Barwell and Earl Shilton were initially advised to keep their windows shut.

Efforts to dampen down were held up after wind caused small fires to start among the debris.
