Two women killed in Barlestone crash named

Police have named two women killed in a crash in Barlestone, Leicestershire.

Jade Srawley, 20, who was driving a Renault Twingo, died at the scene on Thursday evening, along with one of her passengers, 20-year-old Amelia Ecob.

Two men, aged 36 and 39, have been arrested and released on bail in connection with the crash.

The collision on the B585 involved three other vehicles - a Fiat Scudo van, a Toyota Rav 4 and a Ford Focus.

Police are trying to trace the driver of the Fiat van, which left the scene after the accident.

Det Con Rob Lapworth said any calls from the public would be treated in the "strictest confidence".
