Woman forced into car and robbed in Hinckley

A woman has been robbed after being forced into the back of a car in Leicestershire.

The 20-year-old victim had been walking through Hinckley town centre in the early hours of Sunday morning.

She was stopped near Balloonatics novelty shop on Rugby Road and forced into a black vehicle and then let out some time later in the Burbage area.

Her handbag was stolen and she received minor injuries. There were three men in the car.

It was described as small, with black-tinted windows.

The men inside were aged between 18 and 20-years-old. The driver was described as white and the two passengers were black.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
