Leeds 'cannabis' house fire victim identified

A man who died in a fire at a house in Leeds where cannabis growing equipment was found has been named by police.

Lindsay Farquharson, 42, died at the property in Harehills Lane, in the early hours of Thursday, West Yorkshire Police said.

A post-mortem examination found he died as a result of smoke inhalation.

A 28-year-old woman who was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter remains in custody for questioning and enquiries are continuing.
