Police name Bradford pub brawl murder victim

A man who died in hospital three days after he was found injured outside a Bradford pub has been named by police.

Peter Burns, 54, from Girlington, was discovered outside the Queen Hotel in Thornton Road, after a fight in the car park on Saturday.

West Yorkshire Police began a murder investigation following his death on Tuesday.

Five men from Bradford have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.

Four of them, aged 20, 22, 33 and 49, were arrested on Saturday but have since been released on police bail.

A fifth man, aged 29, was arrested on Tuesday is being held in police custody.

The force is appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

Det Ch Insp Ian Scott said: "A man has sadly died as a result of this incident and it is vital that people come forward and tell us what they know, so we can establish what happened that night."
