Shots fired on Leeds streets from car
A number of shots were fired from a car on streets near Leeds city centre, West Yorkshire Police said.
It is understood they were fired from a Ford Mondeo at an Audi on Burmantofts Street and North Street, at about 18:00 BST on Saturday.
The Mondeo was driven from the scene very quickly after the "very serious incident", said the force.
A 28-year-old man driving the Audi was uninjured and police are appealing for witnesses.
Specialist officers conducted extensive forensic searches at both locations.
Det Ch Insp Nicola Bryar said: "This is clearly a very serious incident where shots have been discharged in busy streets on a Saturday evening when a number of members of the public were in the area."
