A man who pleaded guilty to a number of child sex offences has killed himself on the day he was due to be sentenced, Leeds Crown Court has heard.

Michael Fiek, 40, of Hoffman Square, Shoreditch, London jumped off a bridge in the capital.

He pleaded guilty at a previous hearing to 14 offences involving a 15-year-old boy in West Yorkshire.

Two other men were sentenced after pleading guilty to a number of child sex offences.

James Bould, previously of Swindon Road, Dewsbury was jailed for 14 years and Andrew Lynes, 51, of Deighton Road, Huddersfield, was jailed for seven years and six months.
