Man to stand trial over Leeds Burley Park death

A man accused of murdering a 57-year-old man whose body was found in a Leeds park, has appeared in court.

The body of Waldek Mural was discovered in Burley Park in September. A post-mortem examination found he died from multiple injuries.

Grzegorz Kowalczyk, 41, from Headingley, pleaded not guilty to his murder when he appeared at Leeds Crown Court.

He was remanded in custody ahead of his trial on 11 April.
