Two men who died in a car crash in Bradford have been named by police.

Mirza Malick, 64, and Paul Hayward, 55, both from Bradford, were in a Proton car that crashed with a BMW on Shipley Airedale Road at 10:10 GMT on Saturday.

Police believe a white Range Rover was also involved in the collision.

The driver of the BMW, a 26-year-old, and the Range Rover driver, a 22-year-old, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

Both men were later released on bail pending further inquiries.

West Yorkshire Police said Mr Malick and Mr Hayward died at the scene while a 25-year-old man, who was a passenger in the BMW, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The force urged witnesses to contact them.
