Boy, two, injured in Wakefield quad bike crash

A two-year-old boy is in hospital with "serious, life-changing injuries" after falling from a quad bike.

The child is believed to have fallen from the vehicle when it hit a divot as it was being driven on wasteland near to Silcoates Street, Wakefield.

West Yorkshire Police said a 23-year-old man had been riding the blue quad bike at the time.

The force have appealed for witnesses to the incident to come forward.
