Clement Desmier killing: Pair deny stabbing him 40 times

Two men have denied murdering a man who was stabbed to death more than three years ago.

Clement "Butch" Desmier, 68, was found at his home in Bradford in August 2012.

Mr Desmier, of Rowlestone Rise, Greengates, had suffered 70 separate injuries, including 40 stab wounds.

Nathan Jefferson, 20, and David Lawler, 32, from Bradford, appeared at Bradford Crown Court and remain in custody to stand trial on 29 February. Both men have also been charged with robbery.
