Leeds businessman found guilty of killing ex-partner

A man has been found guilty of stabbing his estranged partner to death.

Businessman John Butler, 62, was cleared of murdering Pauline Butler, 61, at her home in Rawdon, Leeds, on 14 April.

But a jury at Leeds Crown Court unanimously agreed he was guilty of manslaughter.

Butler, who runs Kettley's Furniture, in Yeadon, previously admitting killing his partner. He will be sentenced on Thursday.
