Officers investigating the disappearance of a Leeds woman 14 years ago have found human remains at Brimham Rocks in North Yorkshire.

Gemma Simpson was 23 when she was last seen in the Harehills area on 5 May 2000.

Last month, Martin Bell, 44, of St Leonard's Crescent, Scarborough, was charged with her murder.

West Yorkshire Police said the body had not been identified but Ms Simpson's family had been informed.
