Teenager critically hurt in 'targeted' attack in Leeds
A 17-year-old has been left in a critical condition in hospital after an attack in Leeds.
He suffered serious head injuries in the attack on Harehills Lane just before 15:00 GMT on Sunday.
Det Insp Phil Jackson of Stainbeck CID said it was thought to be a targeted attack.
He said a black male and a white female, about 16 or 17 years old, were seen running down Harehills Lane away from York Road at the time.
West Yorkshire Police said officers would also like to speak to the driver of a red taxi, possibly a Vauxhall Vectra, seen driving towards York Road shortly after the attack.
