Eleven people were arrested at a football match between Leeds United and Chelsea on Wednesday night.

West Yorkshire Police said there was no major trouble and most arrests were for public order offences.

The force said 34 people were either ejected from the ground or denied entry - including instances where adults tried to get in using a child's ticket.

A crowd of 33,860 fans watched Leeds lose the Capital One Cup quarter final 5-1 at Elland Road.

Ch Supt Paul Money, West Yorkshire police commander for the game, said: "The vast majority of supporters acted in a responsible and good natured way on what was an excellent atmosphere.

"Given the size of the crowd and the history between both clubs we saw very few arrests."
