Conspiracy to murder arrests after Accrington man found dead

Two further people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder after a 65-year-old man was found dead.

Mohammed Yousaf died after suffering head injuries at a flat in Granville Road, Accrington, Lancashire, on 21 September.

A 45-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from the town, remain in police custody.

Muhammed Arif, 44, of Washington Street, Accrington, has been charged with murder.

A 37-year-old woman from Todmorden in West Yorkshire, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, has been bailed until 3 November.
