A man who died in a car crash after a suspected "medical episode" was "a great guy", his family said.

Michael Lockwood, 72, from Nelson, was driving a red Ford Ranger in Cannon Street, Accrington, at about 22:00 BST on 29 April.

It is believed he fell ill at the wheel before his car hit three signposts and veered across the road, hitting a wall and a parked car.

Paying tribute, his family said the great-grandfather was "much loved".
