A man who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash as he crossed a road in Lancashire has been identified.

Keith Robinson, 69, of Burnley, died in the collision in Albert Road, Colne, on Thursday.

Police believe a Vauxhall Corsa hit him and failed to stop, and three men were arrested in connection with the incident.

Mr Robinson's family described him as "a loving dad, brother and uncle" and an avid rugby and music fan.

"He was well regarded by everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed," they said.

The family also expressed thanks for the help they received at the scene of the collision, and urged witnesses to come forward.
