Two die in hospital after Preston car crash

Two motorists who were seriously injured in a two-car collision in Lancashire have died in hospital.

Nigel Hardman, 48, and Wendy Wall, 51, were taken to Royal Preston Hospital after their Vauxhall and Citroen cars collided on Guild Way, Preston, on Wednesday morning.

Mr Hardman, from Preston, died on Friday morning, while Mrs Wall, from Penwortham, died on Thursday.

A file has been prepared for the coroner, Lancashire Police said.
