Sharon Edwards: Bride accused of solicitor husband's murder

A bride accused of murdering her solicitor husband shortly after they returned from their Las Vegas honeymoon has appeared in court.

Sharon Edwards, 42, of Parkers Wood Close, Chorley, Lancashire, is charged with killing 51-year-old David Edwards.

The criminal defence solicitor was found with a stab wound to his chest at their home on 23 August.

Mrs Edwards did not enter a plea at Liverpool Crown Court and was further remanded in custody until 23 February.

She will stand trial at Manchester Crown Court.

The couple were married in June.

He had been a partner at Kevills law firm in Chorley until he was made redundant.
