Adam Stirrup: Man remanded over Heysham caravan death

A 26-year-old man has appeared in court accused of murder after a double stabbing at a Lancashire caravan park.

Gareth Mason, of Westminster Road, Morecambe, was remanded by Lancaster magistrates to Preston Crown Court on 8 August.

Adam Stirrup, 28, was found along with a 26-year-old woman at Stud Farm Holiday Park in Heysham on Sunday.

Both had serious stab wounds and were taken to hospital where Mr Stirrup died. The woman is critically ill.
