A man has pleaded not guilty to causing a fire which destroyed the social club he managed in Blackpool.

The fire at the Trades and Social Club in Chadwick Street in October 2011 led to the top floor of the building being demolished.

Barry Griezans, from Summerville Avenue in Staining, Blackpool, denied a charge of arson recklessly endangering life at Preston Crown Court.

Mr Griezans was referred for trial at the court on 15 April.
