Man charged over decomposed body in Lancashire house

A man has been charged with murder after a decomposed body was discovered in a house in Lancashire.

The body of 27-year-old James Todd was found in Rutland Close, Clayton Le Moors, on Monday. He had been stabbed through the heart.

David Fielding, 25, of Lynthorpe Road, Blackburn, is due to appear before magistrates in Hyndburn later.

A 30-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender has since been released without charge.
