Roy Blackman murder case: Police keen to trace man

Police have revealed details of a man they want to trace in connection with the death of a 73 year old last month.

The body of former garage owner Roy Blackman was found at his home at Biddenden, Kent on 21 March.

Officers appealed for information about the whereabouts of William Smith, 36 and warned the public not to approach him.

A 37-year-old man is in custody, charged with murder and aggravated burglary.

Mark Love, of Frittenden Road, Staplehurst, was remanded in custody until 6 May.

A post-mortem examination indicated Mr Blackman died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries.

Five other men, arrested as part of the murder investigation, have been released on bail.
