Police have finished searching a disused business park in Kent in connection with the murder of a man during a burglary.

Roy Blackman, 73, was found beaten to death inside his home in Headcorn Road, Biddenden, on Monday.

On Friday, Kent Police said officers left a site in Sutton Valence, which is about eight miles from the crime scene.

A 49-year-old man, from Maidstone, arrested in connection with the murder has also been released on bail.

Several suspects

The force said officers would remain at the scene of the killing in Biddenden over the weekend.

A post-mortem examination revealed Mr Blackman died as a result of multiple blunt force injuries.

Kent Police believe the break-in took place sometime between 01:00 and 03:00 GMT on Monday.

Detectives are hunting several suspects who they say "targeted a vulnerable man".
