Driver guilty over Ashford pedestrian death

A woman has been found guilty of causing the death of a 45-year-old pedestrian by dangerous driving after he was hit by a car in Kent.

Paul Stinton, from Ashford, died from his injuries after he was struck in Simone Weil Avenue in Ashford in January 2014.

Linda Ann Jenns, 48, from Richborough Way, Kingsnorth, had denied a charge of causing death by dangerous driving.

Sentencing was adjourned to 22 June at Canterbury Crown Court.
