Dartford mother Donna Eastwood was stabbed reveals inquest

A mother of four whose body was found in a burning car in Kent had been stabbed, it has been revealed.

Details of a post-mortem examination of Donna Eastwood, 26, from Dartford, were revealed at an opening inquest hearing in Gravesend.

The cause of death was found to be consistent with stab wounds. Toxicology results are still awaited.

Joshua Caird, 26, of Almond Road in Dartford, has appeared in court charged with killing Ms Eastwood.

Her body was found by police in a blazing vehicle in Rowhill Road, Wilmington, on 18 October.

A full inquest into the death of Ms Eastwood, who was listed as Donna Elizabeth Sheppard, will be held at a later date.
