Hundreds of violent attacks in Kent's hospitals

There were more than 800 violent attacks in Kent's hospitals in the past five years, according to figures obtained by the BBC.

Medway Hospital had the most recorded instances followed by Little Brook Hospital, in Dartford.

The Freedom of Information request by Radio Kent showed in total there had been 2,511 crimes reported between 2009 and 2014.

After violence, theft was the most commonly recorded crime.
