Nurse Dale Bolinger in court charged with sex offences and attempted poisoning

A nurse has appeared in court accused of sex offences and trying to poison someone with dry cleaning fluid.

Dale Bolinger, 57, formerly from Canterbury, Kent, appeared at the city's magistrates' court via video-link charged with 11 offences.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place between July 2010 and February this year.

Mr Bolinger was released on conditional bail to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 25 November.

He is charged with one count of administering poison, two counts of possessing an indecent photograph of a child, one count of attempting to meet a girl aged under 16 following sexual grooming and seven counts of publishing an obscene article.
