Human remains found in Whitstable

Human remains have been found by a member of the public in the second such discovery in Kent in less than a month.

The discovery was made in Doggerel Acre in Whitstable at about 14:30 BST on Thursday,

A forensic team is at the scene and investigations to determine how long the remains have been there have started.

Last month human remains were found by a member of the public in Kemberland Wood in Sturry, near Canterbury.

Kent Police said they were believed to be those of an elderly man.
