Two held after gun fired in Swanscombe house

Two people have been arrested after a gun was fired in a house in Kent.

Police were called to a terraced house in Church Road, Swanscombe at 17:00 GMT on Wednesday after reports three men had forced their way into the property.

A gun was fired and three men, all wearing hoodies, were seen running from the house, Kent Police said.

A 25-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman who were in the house at the time were arrested for cultivating cannabis. No-one was hurt, police said.

There were three people in the house at the time, according to Kent Police, who said that all those involved were thought to be known to each other.
